What Is Profhilo?
Profhilo® is an advanced injectable skin treatment designed to improve hydration, firmness and elasticity, helping your skin look smoother, healthier and naturally refreshed.
Made with a high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid, Profhilo works differently from traditional dermal fillers. Rather than adding volume or changing your facial features, it spreads beneath the skin to improve overall skin quality through a process known as bio-remodelling.
As we age, our skin naturally produces less collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which can lead to fine lines, crepey skin, dryness and a loss of firmness.

Profhilo is carefully injected into specific points beneath the skin, allowing the hyaluronic acid to spread through the treated area. Treatment is usually quick, with minimal disruption to your day.

Aftercare & Recovery
Small bumps, redness or swelling are normal after treatment and usually settle within a few days. You'll receive clear aftercare advice to support your recovery.

Is Profhilo the same as dermal fillers?
No! Although both contain hyaluronic acid, they work differently. Dermal fillers add volume and definition, while Profhilo focuses on improving skin hydration, firmness and overall skin quality without changing your natural features.
How many Profhilo treatments will I need?
For the best results, I usually recommend an initial course of two treatments, approximately four weeks apart. Some clients may benefit from additional sessions depending on their skin concerns.
When will I see results?
Some clients notice improved hydration and radiance within the first few weeks. Improvements in skin texture and firmness develop gradually, with the full effects usually becoming more noticeable several weeks after your second treatment.
How long will the Profhilo results last?

Does Profhilo hurt?
You may feel a little stinging or discomfort during the injections, but the treatment is usually quick and well tolerated. I'll make sure you're comfortable and explain everything before we begin.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is generally minimal. You may experience small bumps, redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising around the injection points. These usually settle within a few days, although bruising can last longer. I'll provide full aftercare advice following your appointment.
Can Profhilo be used on the neck and décolletage?
Profhilo treatments aren't just for the face! They can also be used to address skin-quality concerns in other areas, including the neck. Treatment of the décolletage depends on the specific Profhilo product, its approved instructions and your individual suitability.
Is Profhilo suitable for everyone?
Not everyone will be suitable for Profhilo. It isn't recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and certain allergies, infections or medical conditions may affect suitability. We'll go through your medical history and skin concerns during your consultation to make sure it's an appropriate option for you.
