Lip Filler
Enhance. Define. Naturally You.
Beautiful lips aren't about following trends. They're about finding the shape, volume and definition that feels right for you.
At Oakleigh Glow Aesthetics, lip filler treatments are tailored to enhance your natural features, whether you're looking for a subtle boost in volume, improved definition or a little more balance and symmetry.
Using hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers, I focus on creating soft, natural-looking enhancements that complement your facial features and personal preferences.
Whether it's your first time having lip filler or you're looking to refresh your existing results, we'll work together to find an approach that feels right for you.
Because beautiful results aren't about changing your look — they're about enhancing what makes you, you.

What Is Lip Filler?
Lip filler is an injectable aesthetic treatment designed to enhance the natural shape, volume and definition of your lips, creating a fuller, more balanced appearance.
Made with hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that helps retain moisture, dermal fillers are carefully placed to add volume, enhance the lip borders and improve the appearance of symmetry.
Whether you're looking for a subtle enhancement, a little extra fullness or more defined lips, treatments can be tailored to complement your natural features and personal preferences.
As we age, our lips can naturally lose volume and definition, while fine lines around the mouth may become more noticeable. Lip filler can help restore lost fullness and create a smoother, more refreshed appearance.
At Oakleigh Glow, my approach is always about achieving beautiful, natural-looking results that suit your face, rather than following trends or creating unnecessary volume.
The result? Softer-looking, more defined and beautifully balanced lips that still feel like you.
Is Lip Filler Right for You?
Whether you've always wished for a little more fullness, want to enhance your natural lip shape or have noticed your lips losing volume over time, lip filler could be the perfect way to achieve a subtle, beautiful enhancement.
At Oakleigh Glow, every treatment is tailored to your individual features and preferences, whether you're looking for a barely-there boost or a little extra definition.
It's all about creating lips that complement your face and leave you feeling confident.

Thin or Naturally Small Lips
Add subtle fullness and volume while maintaining a soft, natural-looking shape.

Lack of Lip Definition
Enhance your lip borders and Cupid's bow for a more defined, beautifully balanced appearance.

Uneven Lip Shape
Improve the appearance of lip symmetry for a more balanced, harmonious look.

Loss of Volume
Restore some of the fullness and definition that lips naturally lose over time.
How Much Lip Filler Is Right for You?
One of the questions I'm asked most often is, "How much lip filler will I need?"
The answer is different for everyone!
Whether you're looking for a tiny enhancement or a little more noticeable fullness, the amount of filler used will depend on your natural lip shape, existing volume and the look you'd like to achieve.
At Oakleigh Glow, I believe in building beautiful results gradually rather than adding more filler than your lips need.
Here's a little guide to help you understand your options.

0.5ml – A Subtle Enhancement
Perfect for those wanting a little extra fullness, gentle definition or a refresh of existing filler. Often chosen by clients who prefer a very natural-looking result.

0.7ml – A Little Extra Fullness
An option for clients looking for a noticeable but balanced enhancement. Depending on your natural lip shape, this amount can help create additional volume and definition.

1ml – Fuller Enhancement
For clients seeking more volume or working towards a fuller lip appearance. Suitability depends on your natural anatomy, previous filler and treatment goals. In some cases, a gradual approach over multiple appointments may be more appropriate.
Not Sure How Much You'll Need?
Don't worry, you don't need to decide before your appointment!
We'll chat about the look you'd like to achieve, assess your natural lip shape and discuss which approach is most suitable for you.
Whether that means a subtle 0.5ml enhancement or gradually building volume over time, my priority is creating soft, balanced results that complement your face.
Because when it comes to lip filler, it's not about how much we use. It's about achieving the right result for you.
Added Volume
Add subtle fullness or restore volume that's naturally been lost over time.
Better Lip Balance
Help improve the appearance of uneven lips for a more harmonious shape.
Long-Lasting Results
Enjoy enhancements that can last for several months, with results varying between individuals.
Natural-Looking Results
Enhance your lips while maintaining a soft, balanced look that complements your features.
Improved Definition
Enhance your natural lip borders and Cupid's bow for a more defined appearance.
Personalised Enhancement
Every treatment is tailored to your lip shape, natural anatomy and desired results.
Your Lip Filler Treatment Journey
01
Consultation
We'll chat about your ideal lip shape, the amount of volume you'd like and what feels right for you. I'll assess your natural features, discuss your options and make sure you're comfortable with your treatment plan.
02
Treatment
Hyaluronic acid filler is carefully placed to enhance your lips, whether you're looking for subtle fullness, improved definition or better balance. I'll take my time throughout, focusing on results that complement your natural features.
03
After Your Appointment
Some swelling, tenderness and bruising are common after lip filler and usually settle gradually. I'll provide clear aftercare advice, explain the warning signs to look out for and make sure you know how to contact me with any concerns.
04
Your Lip Journey
Your lips will initially appear fuller due to swelling, so the final result isn't immediate. We'll allow around two weeks for the initial swelling to settle before assessing your results and discussing whether any further enhancement is appropriate.
Your Lip Filler Investment
Beautiful lips aren't about how much filler you have, but how it's used.
At Oakleigh Glow, lip filler treatments are priced by technique rather than the amount of product used. Whether you're looking for a subtle enhancement or a little more fullness, your treatment will be tailored to your natural lip shape and the look you'd like to achieve.
I'll always focus on using the right amount for your lips, rather than adding unnecessary volume.
Because beautiful, balanced results are about quality, not quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions
A specialised technique focusing on lip height, shape and definition, creating a more lifted, structured appearance.
Classic Lip Filler focuses on enhancing your natural lip shape, adding fullness and improving definition for soft, balanced results.
Russian Lips uses a different injection technique that focuses on creating more vertical height, definition and a lifted appearance, often with a more pronounced Cupid's bow.
Neither technique is right for everyone, so we'll discuss which approach best suits your natural lip shape and the look you'd like to achieve.
How much lip filler will I need?
Everyone's lips are different! Some clients only need a small amount for a subtle enhancement, while others may benefit from a little more volume.
At Oakleigh Glow, both Classic Lip Filler and Russian Lips include up to 1ml, but that doesn't mean we'll necessarily use the full amount.
I'll always use what's appropriate for your lips, rather than adding unnecessary filler.
How long does lip filler last?
Lip filler results commonly last around 6–12 months, although this varies depending on the product used, your metabolism and individual factors.
Some filler may remain for longer, and maintenance isn't always necessary at fixed intervals.
Does lip filler hurt?
You may experience some discomfort during treatment, but most clients find it manageable.
Many hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine to help reduce discomfort, and we'll discuss ways to keep you comfortable throughout your appointment.
Will my lips look swollen afterwards?
Some swelling, tenderness and bruising are common following lip filler, particularly during the first few days.
Your lips may initially look fuller or slightly uneven due to swelling. This usually improves gradually, and I recommend allowing around two weeks before assessing the settled appearance.
Can lip filler look natural?
Absolutely! Lip filler doesn't have to mean noticeably bigger lips.
Whether you're looking for a tiny enhancement or a little more definition, my approach is always to complement your natural features and create results that suit your face.
Can lip filler be dissolved?
Most hyaluronic acid lip fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase if clinically appropriate.
Dissolving is a separate medical procedure with its own risks and isn't always an instant or predictable process. If you have concerns about existing filler, we can discuss the appropriate next steps.
What are the risks of lip filler?
As with any injectable treatment, lip filler carries risks. Common side effects include swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising. Less common complications include infection, lumps, prolonged swelling and filler migration.
Rare but serious complications include vascular occlusion, where filler blocks a blood vessel and can cause tissue damage. Any severe or increasing pain, unusual pale or dusky discolouration, or visual disturbance after treatment needs immediate medical attention.
I'll explain the risks, warning signs and aftercare during your consultation so you can make an informed decision.
Can I have lip filler if I've had it before?
Often, yes! However, we'll first assess your existing filler, natural lip shape and any previous complications.
Sometimes it's better to allow existing filler to settle, avoid adding more or discuss dissolving before considering further enhancement.
Is lip filler suitable for everyone?
No, and that's why your consultation is so important.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, active infections such as cold sores, certain allergies, medical conditions or previous filler complications may affect suitability.
I'll review your medical history and treatment goals before deciding whether lip filler is an appropriate option for you.
Ready to Love Your Lips?
A little extra fullness, more definition or simply bringing back the shape you once had — beautiful lips mean something different to everyone.
Whether it's your first time considering lip filler or you're looking to refresh your existing results, I'm here to help you achieve a look that feels right for you.
At Oakleigh Glow, every appointment is personal, relaxed and never rushed. I'll take the time to listen to what you'd like, talk through your options and make sure you feel comfortable and confident with your decisions.
Because the best enhancements aren't about looking like someone else, they're about feeling amazing as yourself.
Love, Mariska x
